I had the amazing privilege to address a unique group of individuals through an initiative, Leaders Of The Pack, founded by my good friend Rabbi Nathan Alexander. Rabbi Nathan is creating an incredible movement to empower men to be the best they can be in the image of G-d!
For me there is something surreal about sitting in my sukkah in Jerusalem on a beautiful evening and speaking to such a fascinating group of people, including ex-US military men, through Zoom.
The talk broke out into a discussion and it was invaluable to hear others opinions on the narratives featured in the book. The more I am noticing how the stories, ideas and themes in State Of The Heart have relevance for today’s times. The ideas of “appreciation for life; compassion toward others; reaching out to people we disagree with; helping the less fortunate; turning tragedy into opportunities for growth; applying technology for good, and more!”
