Media Interviews

Was honored to be interviewed by Nausheena Mahomed of Channel M and Give Peace a Chance, a new initiative to engage South Africans on conflict resolution and dialogue between Israel and the Arab world.

About the initiative:

A private South African media company formed in 2018 with a vision to Inspire Change & Raise Consciousness on a wide range of topics impacting the world today – We believe that A story can change the world!

Give Peace A Chance is one of our most inspiring campaigns. We recognized an opportunity to increase visibility on an important aspect of the conflict – the Peace Narrative & we found synergy with our vision to Inspire Change using media technology & purposeful engagement.

This campaign was launched in July 2020, two months before the Historic Peace Deal was signed in the Middle East, known as The Abraham Accords – touted as a geopolitical earthquake!

The Abraham Accords is a historic game changer for the region promising regional peaceful co-operation and economic integration after decades of conflict and tension between Arab States and Israel. What is amazing to note is the vision and declaration of the Abraham Accords. It is in line which much of the work underway by the Peace camps, promoting religious harmony as key to unlocking a true conflict resolution for the Middle East.

For the peace activists in Jerusalem, religion is not a wall between people but a bridge to understanding.

Israel Presentation to Leader of The Pack

I had the amazing privilege to address a unique group of individuals through an initiative, Leaders Of The Pack, founded by my good friend Rabbi Nathan Alexander. Rabbi Nathan is creating an incredible movement to empower men to be the best they can be in the image of G-d!

For me there is something surreal about sitting in my sukkah in Jerusalem on a beautiful evening and speaking to such a fascinating group of people, including ex-US military men, through Zoom.

The talk broke out into a discussion and it was invaluable to hear others opinions on the narratives featured in the book. The more I am noticing how the stories, ideas and themes in State Of The Heart have relevance for today’s times. The ideas of “appreciation for life; compassion toward others; reaching out to people we disagree with; helping the less fortunate; turning tragedy into opportunities for growth; applying technology for good, and more!”
